The 4th is coming up soon, what is everyone cooking, making, grilling? I see a blueberry or strawberry pie in my celebration. Throw some hotdogs or hamburgers on the grill with some veggies and fruit and we are good to go.
Everyone has their own opinion on what is the best type of potato salad. I prefer a mustard potato salad. I add in some onion, cucumbers, and radishes. Yesterday, I wanted to zest it up a bit so I thought a splash of Italian dressing may help. Well, the splash accidentally became a lot more. I mixed it together and hoped for the best knowing I could boil more potatoes and eggs if needed. To my surprise it was delicious!!! A nice change of pace.
We had a beautiful fresh loaf of garlic bread. I added Buffalo Mozzarella, Tomatoes and sprinkled Basil on it since I didn't have the fresh Basil. Then before we ate I drizzled a Balsamic Dressing on it. What a fresh and scrumptious meal.
